About Senior Manager, Outreach and Fundraising:
The Senior Manager – Outreach and Fundraising will lead the organization’s fundraising and strategic partnership efforts to ensure a sustainable growth. This role requires a results-driven professional who can drive high-value partnerships, donor relationships, and grant opportunities to secure funding in alignment with the organization's strategic goals.

Roles and responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy and Execution
  • Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead and manage donor acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Research and identify new funding sources – corporates, foundations, HNIs, and CSR initiatives.
  • Develop compelling grant proposals, donor decks, concept notes, and fundraising communication materials.
  • Track, report, and evaluate fundraising performance metrics regularly.

Partnerships Development:
  • Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with institutional donors, CSR leads, and other key stakeholders.
  • Design and execute partnership strategies for programmatic funding and impact amplification.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and meetings to build visibility and outreach.

Donor Engagement and Reporting:
  • Manage donor reporting, both narrative and financial thereby, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
  • Create donor stewardship plans to ensure a consistent communication calendar.
  • Coordinate with program and finance teams to gather impact data and reporting inputs.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead and mentor the fundraising and partnerships team (if applicable).
  • Work cross-functionally with Communications, Programs, and Finance teams for integrated efforts.
  • Ensure knowledge sharing and capacity building on fundraising best practices within the organization

Compliance and Documentation:
  • Maintain a CRM or donor database to track interactions, funding cycles, and engagement.
  • Ensure all fundraising activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelors or preferably a master’s in Management, or Finance or related fields.
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in fundraising, partnerships, or business development, preferably in the development sector.
  • A proven track record of securing and fostering partnerships with high net worth individual, corporate and institutions
  • Highly proactive and entrepreneurial in communication, story-telling with relationship building skills being at the core functioning
  • Excellent proposal writing and presentation abilities.


Skills and Mindset:
  • A solid understanding of the funding landscape in India (CSR, foundations, international donors, etc.).
  • Deep interest around Arts, social-emotional learning and mental health is preferred.
  • Should be able to confidently lead conversations with corporate and non-profit leaders thereby, enabling them to envision success
  • Be able to lead and mentor a team and delegate responsibilities effectively
  • Be proficient in MS Office and fundraising/CRM toolkits such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Salesforce

Compensation: 8.5-10 LPA
