About Senior Associate, Training and Program Engagement:
The Training and Program Engagement Senior Associate will work directly with the Training Manager to capture data and provide training to all partner organizations to ensure the successful implementation of the Saturday Art Class Curriculum. This is a great opportunity for enthusiasts who love working in a start-up environment, enjoy training, and care deeply about enhancing the lives of children.

Roles and responsibilities:

Managing and conducting training: 
  • Assist & design in formulating a training curriculum framework and formulating the training syllabus.
  • Translate research findings into practical recommendations to enhance training design, delivery, and curriculum
  • Design a year-long training scope/timelines, sequence, and calendar for all relevant stakeholders (educators) for each partner organization in conjunction with details received from different partners.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual educator trainings for all assigned partners

Data Management and Research:
  • Prepare timelines for monthly observations and conduct observation sessions of all partners to document best practices, areas of development to inform modification in training, and areas of support.
  • Prepare monthly/yearly assessment timelines for partners.
  • Co- Design and observe M&E tools for the training curriculum and ensure timely implementation of the same.
  • Collect baseline and end-line data for educator assessment and analyze the trends that have been observed.
  • Procure feedback from end users from all partners - students, and teachers to inform modification of training.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive databases and systems to capture training-related data (attendance, feedback, etc.)
  • Implement feedback & updates into the Training Syllabus and presentations
  • Research the different facilitation and training practices relevant to the sector.

Stakeholder engagement and relationship:
  • Conduct monthly partner orientations/meetings and document the meeting summary ensuring active engagement with the partners.
  • Create impact reports at the end of the year, based on the data collected for all the partners. 
  • Set up progress reviews meetings to discuss achievements, challenges, and next steps with partners.


Team Management:
  • Conduct periodic check-ins with associates to align with the goals.
  • Manage a team of associates effectively to ensure a smooth transfer of responsibilities and tasks.
  • Support the Partnerships and Training team for larger interventions and projects
  • Cross collaborate with other verticals in SArC to ensure the trainings are aligned with the organizational goals


Qualifications & Experience:
  • A graduate degree from a top-tier institution with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and sophistication.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a challenging/high-growth environment in the fields of teaching, training, and facilitation
  • Understanding of the education sector and/or needs of children to develop creative expression and social-emotional learning skills. 
  • Strong instructional proficiency (pedagogy, content, and understanding of child and adult learning) with a deep understanding of excellent student and facilitator outcomes. 
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to analyze data, generate trends, and propose recommendations.

Skills and Mindset:
  • A solid understanding and advocacy around SEL, mental health, and psychosocial development within children is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and make strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Track record of bringing innovative creative thinking and fresh ideas to an organization with solid planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent writing ability that is clear, concise, and analytic in style.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-facing skills including solid presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to travel and adapt to different geographies and be able to deeply understand varied communities for better engagement

Location: Mumbai, India

Language preference: Proficiency in Marathi is a non-negotiable

Compensation: 4.5-5 LPA
